2. What Information We Collect
When you create a free membership, we collect:
- Name and email address
- Mobile phone number
- Home state and birthday month/day
- Your annual states-to-golf goal (1–50)
- Communication preferences (push notifications, deal alerts, trip notifications)
- Which course or QR code you used to sign up (if applicable)
When you use our platform, we may also collect:
- States and courses you've logged as played
- Tee time bookings made through our affiliate partners
- General usage data (pages visited, features used) via standard analytics
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information exclusively to:
- Run your membership account and track your state progress
- Send push notifications and emails you opted into — tee time deals, trip ideas, course recommendations in your goal states
- Recognize your birthday with a curated course suggestion
- Show your ranking on our leaderboard
- Send you the monthly partner report if you are a partner course
- Comply with legal obligations
4. We Never Sell Your Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. Ever. Your data exists to make your 50 States Golf Club experience better — not to generate revenue for data brokers.
5. Affiliate Links & Third Parties
Our platform contains affiliate links to third-party services including tee time booking platforms, hotels, rental cars, Ship Sticks, Harvest Hosts, and golf equipment retailers. When you click these links, you may be redirected to those providers' websites, which have their own privacy policies. We earn a commission when you make a purchase through our links at no additional cost to you.
We do not share your personal information with affiliate partners. Clicking an affiliate link only transfers standard browser information (such as the referring URL) to the destination site.
6. Google Places API
We use Google Places API to display course photos, ratings, hours, and contact information. This service is provided by Google LLC and governed by Google's Privacy Policy. We do not store any Google Places data in our systems beyond what is displayed in your session.
7. Memberstack
Member authentication and profile management is handled by Memberstack. Your login credentials are encrypted and managed by Memberstack's secure infrastructure. We do not store your password. Memberstack's privacy policy governs their handling of authentication data.
8. Push Notifications
If you opted in to push notifications, we may send you alerts about tee time deals, trip ideas, and course recommendations in your goal states. You can opt out at any time by updating your profile preferences or contacting us directly.
9. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your membership is active. If you request deletion of your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or accounting purposes.
10. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Opt out of marketing communications at any time
- Export your data in a portable format

11. Children's Privacy
50 States Golf Club is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
