How We Keep the Lights On

Affiliate & Partner Disclosure · Last updated May 2026

50 States Golf Club is free — and we intend to keep it that way. Here's an honest explanation of how we earn revenue to run the platform, and the principles we hold ourselves to when recommending anything to our members.

Our Principles

🚫
No Pop-Ups. No Spam. No Pushy Ads.
We made a commitment from day one: affiliate links live naturally within content — in course pages, trip guides, and the Travel Hub. We never use pop-ups, banner ads, or unsolicited promotional messages. If we recommend something, it's because it genuinely fits the 50SGC lifestyle.
Editorial Independence
Affiliate relationships do not influence which courses get recommended or how they're rated. Course placement on our map is determined by member engagement and partner activity — never by who pays us more.
💬
We Label It When It Matters
Pages that contain affiliate links include a small disclosure note. We're not hiding anything. If clicking a link might earn us a commission, you'll see it noted.
🎯
Member Value First
We only pursue affiliate relationships that offer genuine value to our members. Ship Sticks saves you baggage fees. Harvest Hosts lets you sleep at golf courses. Booking.com finds you the best hotel rate. We'd recommend these regardless of whether we earn a commission.

Our Affiliate Partners

When you click certain links on 50statesgolfclub.com and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This comes at no additional cost to you — in many cases our partnerships secure member discounts that make things cheaper than booking direct.

Course Partner Commissions

Partner courses that choose to participate in tee time booking through our platform may pay 50 States Golf Club a booking commission. This is disclosed in our partner agreements. Importantly: members who sign up through a course's own QR code are exempt from booking commissions at that specific course — we believe courses should benefit from the members they drive to our platform.

What We Don't Do

FTC Compliance

In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, we disclose that some links on this website are affiliate links. When you click these links and make a qualifying purchase, 50 States Golf Club may receive compensation. This disclosure applies site-wide.
